Whitby Seafoods are recruiting for a Canteen Assistant at their Whitby site. Hours: 13:00pm – 21:00pm, Monday to Friday. Key areas of the role include: Maintaining a hygienic, pleasant, and welcoming canteen environment. Following all allergen management procedures. Assisting with the ordering of stock and overseeing stock levels. Conducting temperature checks. Preparation of meals as per health and safety requirements. Assisting with maintenance and hygiene of canteen equipment. Ideal candidate: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices advantageous.
