Trawler Deckhand

Shetland Seafood is seeking experienced Deckhands for our demersal trawler fleet operating out of Lerwick. You will work as part of a crew of 6–8, fishing for haddock, cod, whiting, and other demersal species in the North Sea and North Atlantic. Trips are typically 7–10 days with corresponding time off. Earnings are on a share basis and can be significantly higher than the base estimate for experienced crew.

• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) certificate • ENG1 medical certificate • Previous fishing vessel experience preferred • Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions • Willingness to be based in Lerwick
